Georgia Realty Sales is proud to have been a part of many wonderful lives whom we feel so fortunate in that our paths crossed and you were "Sold" on Washington-Wilkes. We are sincerely grateful to all! It's been a great year and we cherish the friends we have made and wish you all happiness, health, and love!

Many new faces found here. . .
Hoyle & Ellen Penna of Orlando, FL are putting final touches to interior renovations of the Toombs DuBose home on South Alexander! It's gorgeous and you'll see on the Spring Tour!

Carlean Mosher is breathing "new life" and pride into the Boyd homeplace on Thomson Hwy.

Johnnie Sludder of N.C. is now calling Mrs. Ethel Harris place "home."

Dr. Dan & Rebecca Fried with lovely children are loving the "Country Life" on Clark Gresham Rd.

Best wishes to Robert and Rita Adams in their new endeavors!

Emma Shepherd
returned to find "home" here in Greensboro Road.

Bill & Melissa Grant
with family settled into "home" at their beautiful farm on Danburg Road. Have we got the horses yet?

Many Family faces have changed spaces. . .
Louise & Ross Maynard made the move to their "county estate" on the By-Pass-Randy & Penny Lindsey's former home with 3 wonderful lakes! Of course Louise has transformed the home to sheer elegance and Ross has formed his spaces! They're so energized!

Pugh & Kay Nelms have spread their wings at the former Karpie home in Logan Woods. Dreams do come true! Kay has her spacious home, Pugh has his very important SHOP!

Judy Anderson is calling "home" her newly renovated Cedar Street Cottage. It's so cute!

Ed & Susan Pope with the "little" Pope are "home" at Camellia Cottage on Water Street!

Debra Elsmore is proud to call Cynthia Lane her very own new "Home Sweet Home."

April Harrison and children have made Mrs. Emily Latimer's Home their special "home."

Rilla Spellman is working to make her and her horses "home" at the Sankey place Hwy 80.

Billy & Rosemary Caddell have found "home" with the little one at the Senator McGill home place Tignall Rd. which had been beautifully remodeled by Jesse Robinson.

Around the Square. . .
"George & Martha's" became "The Sport Page!" Angie is in law school-thanks Skeet!

V.W. has done a wonderful job with the Barber Shop Building next to the Hotel!

Jason Drury is the "oh so proud" owner of the Steve Blackmon Building! Jason with partner Roy Kirkland came from Valdosta to renovate and call the Tupper-Barnett House "home" in Washington. Roy has "The Gift Store." Two retail shops, totally renovated Washington's National Landmark and brought 11-Alive News here. Thanks guys!

Robert Geiger & Ed Franklin came here from Tampa and now own & operate the "Antique Exchange mall" in the former Heard House (old bank Building)! Good going!

Tom & Jane Owen of Atlanta have great plans for Aaron Cofer Building! You'll see!

Dr. Katherine Sanders and husband Preston are making Washington "a family affair!" Their excitement is contagious! They are the new owners of the Christmas Shop Building (formerly Judy Anderson's) and are busy giving the upstairs apartment some personal touches of their own! We hope to have them here from Conyers to call Washington "home" soon! Katherine has some wonderful ideas and their entire family will be an asset!

At the Lake. . .
The Martin's of Elberton have a new lot, the Osbon's have an additional 10 acres adjoining their lake house.

Don Blackburn got 35 new acres on the lake which he will sell, of course.

The Kirkland's of Comer have a superb view of sunsets across the lake at the former Callaway lake house at Gills Point!

Out in the Country. . .
Dr. Tom Phillips and wife Beth with children are loving their "place in the country" all 210 acres (old Cofer farm) on Columbus Granade Rd. What was their name for the farm? Chiggars & Champagne? Huch? Can you figure that?

Ray and Judy McDaniel became proud landowners (two farms) in Wilkes County. They visit often to hunt, fish, relax and escape Atlanta! They sold there, invested here!

Shooter Roberts loves to get away here to his farm! His real name has an IV after it and it's not "Shooter the IV." (He bought lands of Frank Bentley)

Walter Sturdivant, one of the last descendents owning lands in the Robert Toombs family land on Scull Shoals sold his 149 acres to one of Washington's own! The Toombs cemetery remains there and is very interesting!

The Agee's are enjoying and have built a log cabin on Morgan County family lands of Washingon's Mrs. Ann Gunter. She would be proud.

Just over the line in Oglethorpe, the Brownlows are enjoying their farm. It had been in the Harrison family for generations. It's in good hands and the love of the land continues!

Johnnie & Judy R. (20+ year clients) once again this year expanded their Wilkes County land holdings. We're about to make 1000 ac. They love this area. . . like me! Hopefully one day they can make their permanent home here, too!

Don and Jane P. (clients for years and years) have hit the 1000! THANKS Don & Jane! It was tuff, Don, but it "closed." Jane is a true country girl at heart and loves the FARM LIFE!

Bart Davis, wife and father are proud owners and happily hunting on their land in Sharon, GA. She likes to hunt hogs.

Movers and Shakers from the "year before". . .
Steve and Deb DeShazo-You are appreciated and we are glad you are here! Coming from Gulf Shores, Alabama, they made "home" the former Mildred Barnett house on Spring St., provide us fine and casual dining with the Jockey Club and The Sports Page. Deb gives so much of her time and I am sure Steve has many, many, many more endeavors for us to follow! I am glad Steve came to check out Washington that day and stayed!

Mike and Christy Todd and Jim Carter-So vividly I remember the Oct. 31 we "signed" the contract in my office; closed on the anniversary of the first opening of the Hotel (eerie and not planned), and now it seems a "new Washington was born." I am very, very proud to have been a part and am appreciative of all you are doing!

Stephanie Macchia (Now Museum Coordinator) came here from California, returning to Georgia to make the Charlie Jordon place "home" with husband and family. The Jordan House photo from my web site was her screen saver in California for months! Dreams do come true, right Steph?
